Background

• Tiempo was created in 2007, in Rhones-Alpes by Serge Maginot and Marc Renaudin. The company develops and commercializes a complete solution – IPs and EDA tools – for the design of innovative clockless integrated circuits. Tiempo’s asynchronous solution enables the design of complex chips with ultra-low power consumption and ultra-low electromagnetic emission, as increasingly required in embedded electronics

Process

• Shamrock has advised Tiempo on the second round of fundraising subscribed by Viveris Management, Oddo Asset Management, Schneider Electric Ventures, and Emertec Gestion.

• Schneider Electric Venture and Emertec Gestion had already subscribed to the first round in 2008.

• With this second round, Tiempo will continue to develop its product portfolio and will expand its commercial reach internationally.
